| Chicken (Butterflied) |
1 whole 5 – 6 pound |

| Homemade Barbecue Sauce |
1 pint |

| 1. Preheat oven to 450°. Butterfly the chicken and place upside down on a baking dish (I use a large pie dish). Spread 1/2 of the barbecue sauce over the chicken. |
2. Bake 1/2 hour. Turn chicken over and add the remaining barbecue sauce. Reduce oven temperature to 350°. |
3. Cook 1/2 hour longer. |
