Making and Canning Peach Jam
We love peach jam! Try substituting some of the fruit with
blueberries or raspberries for a terrific dessert topping!

We make most jams using the same procedure, regardless
of the fruit. Using the ingredients below, follow our
technique for
Making Jam, with a 15 minute cook time,
and then
Canning Jam.
Ingredients per 1/2 pint of jam:
 
Peaches
1 pound per 1/2 pint jam jar        
Water
1/8 cup per 1/2 pint jam jar
Sugar
1/2 cup for each pound of fruit
Lemon (organic or chemical free)
1 for every three 1/2 pint jars
