When making raspberry jam you may choose to run the fruit through a sieve or food mill to remove the seeds first.
We make most jams using the same procedure, regardless of the fruit. Using the ingredients below, follow our technique for Making Jam, with a 15 minute cook time, and then Canning Jam.
Ingredients per 1/2 pint of jam:
Raspberries
1 pound per 1/2 pint jam jar
Water
1/8 cup per 1/2 pint jam jar
Sugar
1 cup for each pound of fruit
Lemon (organic or chemical free)
1 for every three 1/2 pint jars

If you like jam thicker, you may ad pectic in accordance with manufacturer's directions.
