Making Cream of Chicken Soup
For cream of chicken soup, we use our canned chicken soup recipe and then
add cream after opening and reheating.
Canned Chicken Soup
Pint
Quart
Heavy Cream (or milk)
1/8 - 1/4 cup
1/4 to 1/2 cup
  1. Bring canned chicken soup to a simmer. You may prefer to reduce it for a 15 - 20
    minutes to compensate for the added cream.
  2. Add desired amount of cream or milk.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
